We'll agree to disagree but on my earth Iron Man is a popular character.

Indeed. We've heard editors say in interviews that certain characters will always have books because of their popularity.

Alien and Predator are getting their own books ever since Disney bought Fox. Doesn't mean they are popular

But those are inarguably popular franchises. Sure maybe not particular popular amongst Marvel fandom, but that’s why Disney buys different IP… to engage different audiences.

They were popular because they are "kino"
But not in comics. 2 different media. Comics have a relatively small fanbase. So i am not sure it creates too much diversity unless those are comic book fans from other fanbase

How dare you! I will not have such implied slander against DD. He may not be Wolverine-level popular but he has a very devoted, consistent and supportive fanbase, thank you very much.

Are you just going to ignore the "consistently" part of that comment?

Did the Alien and Predator series consistently have books before Disney got them?

Matt doesn't even have a anime and shows up in the Capcom games but Iron Man's not popular. I'm bawling.
