I would enjoy a mash-up of this and the Amazing Man-centric one you did on the previous page

also, I can't remember if it was the same character or a prior iteration, however, Black Condor was in the League during the whole Bloodwynd/Martian Manhunter debacle

That was the Ryan Kendall version of Black Condor, who was killed during Infinite Crisis. The current version, John Trujillo, has really only been a member of the most recent Freedom Fighters incarnation.

Throw in Empress, one of the DNAngels, or Natasha Irons for the Legion expat and I am all over this!

They're dead (or mostly dead) and have never been in the JL as far as I know:
Justice League Death : Witchfire - Tempest - Vigilante - Crimson Avenger - Wing - Scarab

I -think- all these characters fit the criteria. If not, my bad; it was a fun thought exercise!

The Mage, the Princess, the Knight, the Squire, the Centaur, the Demon, the Jester.

    ^^^Dangit!

Okay, let’s see what happens when the JLA goes MIA (again) and the US Govt. decides to get proactive and rebuild the team…:

    THE VETERAN
Seemingly immortal, virtually indestructible, w. nearly 250 years of experience, the Vet’s taken part in every war the United States has ever fought, and he’s in charge.

    THE VIKING
Having been created, and then erased, during the Emperor Joker event, how the godlike Viking is now on Earth is a mystery. His presence has upset several Pantheons, which will be an issue (several issues really a whole story arc). Then there’s the fact that he was originally created using 5th dimensional “magic”, and Mr. Mxyzptlk will eventually show up w. some questions.

    SOCIALIST RED GUARDSMAN
The radioactive up-armored Guardsman is massively powerful, so when he defects from China and not only goes to America but joins their newly formed JLA, the Chinese Govt. views it as a slap in the face. Look for Guardsman’s former team the Great Ten, to try and forcibly bring him back “home”, kind of like Alpha Flight went after Wolverine back in the Claremont/Byrne days.

    COLOSSAL BOY
Gim Allon isn’t the first Legioniare to spend time in their past/our present. The US Govt. would def. want to keep him close, for however long he’s here, to prevent any future knowledge getting into the wrong hands (meaning not theirs). Plus it sets up the new JLA for a time travel adventure.

    BUMBLEBEE
The Veteran finds it hard to believe that a young woman w. such a useful powerset, scientific background, and initiative, has never been a prominent hero on a major team. He’s going to change that.

    DAMAGE
A certified team wrecker during his “Hour of Power”, Ethan Avery had been AWOL and on the run from the US Govt. until the Veteran tracked him down, and offered him a chance to clear his record in return for joining the new JLA and using his abilities in a way that wouldn’t compromise his morals.

    ATOM SMASHER
Al Rothstein is more than happy to put all his generational Infinity Inc. JSA baggage behind, so of course his new team and his old team will cross paths, w. him squarely in the middle.

Atom Smasher was a member of the League as Nuklon. Though he was Atom Smasher on Justice League Unlimited.

Besides Blue Devil, Ambush Bug was part of the short-lived League in the 52 series along with Firestorm, Firehawk, Bulleteer, and Super-Chief! Actually one of my favorite line-ups because it's so damn weird.

Here's one where I took prominent members of other teams (or ones I just liked) and mashed them up to be a new League:
    -Iron - Owl Woman - Ultra Boy - Saturn Girl - Green Lantern - Elasti-Woman - Robotman - Raven

It's really hard to find someone in DC who HASN'T been in the League, in one way or another. I think the only thing harder is to find someone in Marvel who HASN'T been an Avenger, in one way or another.

    Peace
