I was thinking that as well... with the set-up they had by the end of the solo series I was hoping they would tease him helping little by little from time to time until you get to the cliffhanger where the whole team is in trouble or something and Iceman finally forms himself whole and comes back to everyone, but now he's randomly showing up full-formed in one panel, barely seen at that, like it's nothing despite everyone thinking of him of dead :/ I guess I shouldn't doom and wait for what the dialogue is saying but everything here makes Fall of X look more and more pointless...

Emma's uniform looks mostly Anka HFG3 esq at a glance.
