Either of these, at least for me, would work as an updated design for Norman Osborn once he resumes the Green Goblin identity. While it was inevitable that his days as a hero would be numbered, especially given how his turn toward heroism happened in the first place . . . it's almost a shame, though.

His look does need to be updated. Classic Green Goblin is fine, but outdated. I like the new Ultimate Green Goblin's look.

Both of those would be cool, though I did like the Marvel Knights Spider-Man look where he was wearing darker colors and his suit was more like body armor, even if he kept the classic goblin mask.

I used to love Norman in the late 90s/ early 00s when he would appear in a major storyline every two years or so to really mess with Peter. But like the Joker, he’s so overexposed now that I hope we don’t see him again for a decade.

If the repeated regurgitation of Superior Spider-Man is anything to go by, probably some iteration of Norman (split good side, AI copy, alternate universe version, clone, the possibilities are endless…) will be trotted out for a new Gold Goblin miniseries in 5 years.
