I'm eager for the film series to go more towards the Ghostbusters Extreme iteration. That is, the active 'busters are all new and younger.

It's interesting how three Ghostbuster movies in a row have opened within a $2-million range domestically ($44-46 million).

New cartoon is in development, FYI.

    At Netflix.

That is what is needed to continue growing new Ghost Heads.

Note we have had 3 movies in a roll make over $40m! If kong does the same, it will be 4 in one month!

In a more "what the heck" news pooh blood and honey 2 has had a 100 rt score with 6 reviews all day! Lol!

Also spy x family the movie gets a pg-13 rating in america and continues the tradition of not marketing the anime movies much in america.

The Pooh movie made almost $5 million from a sock change $100,000 budget, so I heard it has a bigger budget this time. This might be a situation where the only way to go, quality wise, is up.

I still expect Terrifier 3 to be the ultraviolent sensation slasher of the year.

Marketing in the USA costs A LOT and probably would not get enough from the BO to cover it.

Anime movies might not necessarily need big marketing, they can have ride or die fans who will know they're coming, and depending on the movie they might bring friends or relatives too.

My Son went to see Demon Slayer at the theater, and didn't see any ads and was PO'd he didn't know it was coming, then he was PO'd after because it was all stuff he saw before...So, yeah, a little marketing may have helped...

It was a "new season" movie. Japan gets these along with full movies. Cells at work had one also in japan as well as others. Common in japan.

Last few episodes of a season with one new episode from next. America does this also with game of thrones, chosen, asohka, yellowstone, lord of the rings series and just did this with the start of a season with first 3 x-men 97 episodes released on the big-screen.

The trailer did say demon slayer 3 is a season movie but many didn't see the ad.

Spy x family movie up next is a full new movie.

Ryans world getting a big-screen movie. That show is still around?

    https://www.animationmagazine.net/20...s-to-theaters/

Looks like $26M+ FRI for #GodzillaXKong, giving it a OD of ~$36M. Headed for $76-81M or so weekend.

Early easter box office in china kong smashed $43.5m there!

No domestic box office yet but ghostbusters is not looking good getting the D&D second weekend drop.

Not good for ghostbusters from early looks.
