Yeah...point about Mystique. While she's never really been fully on the side of the heroes she's developed enough in this era to not outright be their antagonist.

Lord Ewing *Praise His name! Uplift Him in song!* Your divine works will be remembered and glorified in worship for all eternity. Amen!
Mystique got her wish. Irene is "back"
So why brother her? those years of Mystique being a total ....... were horrible years and years of this woman is crazy and is a horrid mom.
That could be true but ocasionaly people try to change. and Xmen Blue Origins give me that feel. Mags is already a grey to white character. Maybe Mystique will be "the New old new Mags"
I believe that Mystique and Destiny should reassemble the Brotherhood. Let them be angry that Krakoa has failed and blame it on the X-men. Blaming others for the failures without admitting their own.
I can easily see a Brotherhood book as part of the From the Ashes line-up headed up by Mystique and Destiny - both them and a number of villains in general have received a great deal of focus and development during the Krakoa era, it would be a shame not to capitalize on that.
If that is the case. ill be more impactful that the new "Brotherhood" is made of a unexpected someone.
Maybe Storm or Sunspot saying screw it humanity u believe Orchis well suck it now. we leaving
I like this a lot. Destiny has demonstrated with the SOS timeline that she'll sacrifice the many to be with Mystique. If her visions show her she needs to go up against the X-Men to keep her marriage intact and thriving, she absolutely will. I think it'd be a good evolution for her too considering how much of a big player she's become in this era.

Krakoa, Arakko, and Otherworld forever!
If you mean who should be the new mutant supremacist villain, I have no idea, but if you mean who should be the X-Men's top villain, I've always liked Count Nefaria or Graviton. The Count was one of the X-Men's earliest villains (though I think Iron-Man fought him first) and even though Graviton has never fought the X-Men (and is not a mutant), as the master of a fundamental force (gravity), he'd be a good replacement for Magneto. But the best idea is to keep Magneto evil.

to keep Mags evil is to dont go beyong the character representation.
Mags is not what Morrison wanted. But he is not a saint the middle ground worked for Stark why not Mags?
Why not Charles? Why he will want to keep things civil- Orchis DECIMATED Krakoa in minutes. What Wanda did when she went nutty Orchis did it in hours.
Raven and Irene win they grey place if someone needs to get that place (the evil mutant stuff) needs to be someone who hurt. Like Roberto Sam or Lorna.
or someome new but well written.
Bring back someone out of the ordinary. We have just experienced Apoc, Destiny, Exodus, Mystique. Let’s see someone else for a change.
A resurrected young Tobias Messenger would be a rival to Prof X and could start a new team of mutants who are radically different than The X-Men yet would not really be “evil”. A team certain Acolytes, Mutant Force, Resistants would want to join.

The answer is obvious: Sinister.
He is the villain of the Krakoan era, and with the redemption of Apoc, is truly one of the last remaining villain holdouts. He truly believes in the mutant gene.
I see that people are floating Mystique/Destiny as ideas, but they are too focused on personal gain and don't really have a big picture ideology to create meaningful conflict with. They could care less about the mutant gene; its merely a power to take advantage of for personal gain.
I can't really see Mystique/Destiny having an Asteroid M, complete with goons and followers.
I could see Mystique having a lair filled with stolen art from across history, and maybe some stolen sheet music that used to belong to Mozart. Not big ideas, but things for personal enjoyment. As has been said, they are more about personal gain rather than ideology.
Dark does not mean deep.
