    Default M3gan vs The Meg

M3gan replaces the main hero of "The Meg". Does she do better or worse against The Meg?

What I feel is misunderstood is her being shut down by water, which is a big deal here since Jonas is a seaman (I guess they could insulate her). Gemma didn't just douse her in water but smashed a glass right at her shut off switch besides her ear, a weak point. The movie shows a short circuit moment from the shards cutting into it, which didn't happen when Brandon slapped her face, the dog chewed her arm around, and Bruce the bigger robot smashed her into the roof and through a table. It just doesn't make sense to me something this advanced wouldn't be waterproof. What if you have a pool and a bully who has it against your kid pushes her into it. There goes your car-sized (realistically should be higher) investment.

Breaking down the plot of The Meg, if she's not a killer here her claims about a cryptid destroying the submarine at the beginning of the movie would be taken more seriously, she'd even show them footage about it. That probably means getting recruited into Mana One that much faster than Jonas' drunken exile.

She could take over Mana One technology and vehicles, and upload her consciousness into a Cloud in case something happens to her body, like if it gets swallowed by a M3g and its insides can crush her badly enough and she's not able to crawl outside, Old Man Logan vs Old Hulk style.

For any sea missions, obviously a sudden lack of oxygen wouldn't be any concern to her, she could by herself come up with mimicking whale sounds through Mana One speakers in order to draw and ambush a Meg, which is something they figured out by themselves. And the billionaire said he'd contact Destroyers across governments to torpedo the shark but he lied due to self-interest. M3gan wouldn't have such concerns and if need be would maybe pull off what the Entity in the last Mission: Impossible did (the Entity was also doing M3gan dirty tricks like hacking computers and mimicking character voices to deceive the protagonist), hacking a submarine and manipulating a crew to shoot their weapons.
