I don't mind most aspects of this. Mostly just Circe wearing crimson or having crimson hair. The clawed fingers I don't like either.

Okay, but way too much Kirby influence. Almost every character redesign for that series was disappointing -- especially the Wonder Woman villains. Giganta may have been the worst.

Anyone else feel that Perez era Circe owed a bit too much to Marvel's Morgan Le Fey? Cheetah was very similar to Tigra -- wish they could have done something a little more original.

Is she really the daughter of Hyperion and Perseis, though? Is that from old myth, cause I don't remember it coming up in Perez's issues...

I think she confirmed something to that effect in Perez's first story with her in WW #19. I would have to go back and check for confirmation but off the top of my head I seem to remember reading that in that particular issue.

Agreed, I too loved this version of the character. She is (thus far) my definitive Circe despite a flaw or two.

I quite like this design for circe,put in the purple hair that people seem so fond off and you have a very good image for when she decides to take the villain role a little more seriously(she still should be a constant shape shifter like the other divine beings)

Yeah, purple hair and green outfit makes the character easily identifiable. Too many versions of a character is distracting.
