Default Dr. Sue Storm-Richards: Invisible Woman appreciation 2024

It’s the 2024 edition of the Invisible Woman appreciation!

    Wife, Mother, Sister, Archaeologist, Hero!

Sue has come a long way from her inception in the 60s and I want even more growth in 2024!

The first post has to be my favourite thing to happen to Sue last year. When she was revealed to be an archaeologist!

I’m so excited by the doors this can open and looking forward February’s issue where we get to see her on an archaeological adventure for the first time!

was it revealed that she suspended her studies at one point and then returned to get the PhD? just curious.
Hopefully current and future writers will remember the updated knowledge sets.

The best part of this for me was the joke which showed exactly where Sue is on the Namor thing. Over, Done With, and ready to joke about it.
I’ll don the mask and wear the cape
If I am super, how can I wait?

The Fraction run retconned her to having finished college before getting her powers.

Was only waiting for her field to finally be revealed. Plus the current run has been emphasizing Sue being a doctor.

Since Fractions run 10 years ago, but only recently has it been focused on and revealed to be in archaeology.

He dyed it then used cosmic powers to make it permanently black in Slott's run.

Who’s the Jean Grey looking person? I don’t remember any golden age superheroine that looks like that? Or is that Jean?

That's definitely an X-Men uniform. Look at the belt. So yes, that probably is Jean. And I assume the other redhead is Hellcat, but before she got her powers - Patsy Walker is a golden age character, but wasn't a superhero back then. She's not the only civilian there as I'm pretty sure that's Aunt May Parker at the back too.
