They should make it like Fast and Furious, with dinosaurs. Turn them into a commodity instead of a liability.
Every day is a gift, not a given right.
I suspect a lot of responses are along the lines of "meh", which is mine. I stopped caring about that franchise a long time ago. Dinosaurs eating people or stepping on them. Seen it, don't need to see it again.
The first Jurassic Park and the first Jurassic World are the only ones I loved. Never re-watch any of the others. Never seen the last one and don't care to. Not interested in #7.
It should be about pocket sized dinosaurs like in a 80s Gremlins movie. Giant dinosaurs are very 1993.
I want to see the start of a post-apocalyptic franchise if they keep going.
Jurassic Kingdom.
Let man die out and dinosaurs start taking over.
Then by the third, we could have a Dinotopia setup.
Hehe.

Wasn't the last movie about bugs? I don't even think this franchise cares too much about dinos anymore.
love is the real "success."

Reportedly involves David Koepp, who wrote the first two, Spielberg entries-and the only ones which were based on novels (although certainly the sequels have used sequences from both novels).
Wonder if this means they might be trying a modern "back to basics" approach with a relatively small number of isolated people dealing with the Dinosaurs.
Yeah, the bug thing was kind of an odd choice, which was a shame because it was otherwise cool they brought the two casts together, as well as reuniting Goldblum with the other two JP leads(As Neill and Dern didn't appear in a sequel together with Goldblum until then).

I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:
Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.
I can't help but noticing when I see the ones set outside the islands that the entire world seems to have forgotten that most countries have armed forces that could and certainly would kill all the dinosaurs outside the islands with relative ease. Which sort of obviates that idea. And yes, the last movie.
JURASSIC PARK IN SPACE because only where left to go is space.

Dinos cause a mutation in a virus that kills off man.
Easy peasy.

Very early in production of the fourth film they were considering Dino-human hybrids (the basic concept of which-mixing Dinosaur DNA with other Dinosaurs/other creatures apart from of course the frog DNA-made it to the final film with the Indominus).
It's also kind of based on a hypothetical/"Thought experiment" by Dale A. Russel, that if Dinosaurs did not go extinct they might have eventually evolved into human-like creatures. Specifically, the Troodon (Although nowadays it's been re-classed as a Stenychosaurus) which has more 'brain space' than the average Dinosaur (Probably roughly equivalent to a Parrot, maybe).
If you've seen Christopher Reeve's Dinosaur special documentary in the 80's (Which itself is a proto-JP of sorts as it features some great effects by Phil Tippet) it's featured in one of the segments. It has some similarities to the Sleestak from Land of the Lost and the alien from SIGNS.
Reeve's reaction is great: "Dinosaur-Man. Well, I'm glad I don't look like that!....but what I'm not happy about is....they're gone."

Well, having sex with a dinosaur is something the series hasn't touched on yet. So that is an opportunity.
