I never watched Oppenheimer. After watching Grave of the Fireflies I couldn't bring myself to seeing a film like that.

Was it worth all the hype? Yamazaki (the director behind Godzilla Minus One) said he will make a movie regarding Japan's Response to it.

    Oppenheimer is really good.

Everyone is amazing and Murphy/RDJ are fantastic.

Yeah. Not just her emotional acting, but her physical acting for the role was phenomenal. And no, not the “naughty bits” (before someone goes there). The way she walked/stared/moved her arms/facial expressions.

Well, to be clear on my part, I thought they all were fantastic performances.

Just liked pretty much all of them better.

It was a good year for women IMHO.

I boycotted this year but I was very pleased to hear Jonathan Glazer spoke about the genocide in Gaza; it's important for people with these platforms to use those platforms to call out atrocities. Glazer is freaking amazing!!

And of course the official Oscars channel didn't upload his acceptance speech...
