Greg Smallwood's pitch for Midnight Sons.
I think had Bill Mantlo continued the Hulk he planned for another intelligent Hulk (distinct from his Banner Hulk) to emerge I think but then he left the book and Bryne took over, and he and Milgrom continued the mindless Hulk until Milgrom brought in the Grey version towards the end, and PAD took it from there.

Fantastic Four vol 3 #2 had a plot where an assassin tried to take down Sue because only she could see him. I find the idea of an invisible foe in which only Sue could see pretty interesting, and he is just out there.
I'm really hoping to see him return... yet there's a lot from Lobdell's short (but actually decent) FF run that went nowhere.
What happened to Jolt after the 2016 Thunderbolts? I want a follow up on it and bring back Jolt! I'll never stop saying it until she returns!

As a Spider-Man fan, I'll cop to liking Mark Millar's 12-issue Marvel Knights saga for him, especially the notion presented that there was a secret consortium of corrupt corporate and political actors that engineered the proliferation of supervillains as a means to distract superheroes from using their powers and resources to potentially enact greater social change or even go after those same corrupt actors for their greater crimes against society and humanity, and Norman Osborn was one of those corrupt corporate actors in the consortium before he went insane and turned into a supervillain himself. Would like to see whatever became of that consortium afterwards and whether or not they were still active throughout the history of the Marvel Universe, creating or sponsoring the creation of more and more supervillains over the years/decades. Speaking of unresolved plots involving Norman Osborn and Spider-Man, the Ravencroft miniseries after Absolute Carnage ended with the introduction of a new, post-S.H.I.E.L.D. clandestine government organization called J.A.N.U.S. that included some figures from HYDRA and A.I.M. as well as S.H.I.E.L.D. and Alpha Flight/Department H, and it seemed like they were going to be a big deal. Shame that hasn't been followed up on, either, given the changes with Norman since he got "cleansed" of his evil through taking a demonic shotgun blast to the chest.
The spider is always on the hunt.
