This is probably the most brutal and sadistic Creed's been in years.
Also, Colossus a lot more willing to kill now.

I am just counting the days till Percy finally leaves the X-office. Now he managed to ruin LaValle run as well.
This was brutal and uncompromising and made me a bit uncomfortable... which I think is what Percy was going for here. It feels very much like watching a horror movie to me. So far I'm enjoying it. The line Creed gave about having "killed weaker Wolverines" across the multiverse was interesting. Makes me think 'ol Ben has been reading the rumors about what's coming in Deadpool 3 and getting in front of that in the comics, as there are other Wolverine variants who are rumored to appear and I'm sure some weaker ones will meet grisly (and hilarious) ends. Ha.
Also, the art was superb in this issue. Good stuff.

Hope the payback is glorious.

I'm not certain if this is really Curse whom Creed just spine ripped(in Mortal Kombat terms). That girl was NOTHING but trouble from the start of Krakoa Era. However, I'm used to Nature Girl's sudden Heel Turn due that brat's fault....
The three children in this issue have appeared throughout the run a few times.

Wolverine 28:
Wolverine 29:
They also appeared in X-Force it seems. One of the wikis lists the bird boy as Tito Bohusk but I don't know if that's correct. If it is that's even more devastating.

Krakoa, Arakko, and Otherworld forever!
I think so, and also ensuring that any shreds of "anti hero" are torn away from the character, and that he is for sure 100% an out-and-out villain again. Remember in the 90s, after his AoA variant proved so popular, they tried to make him a good guy for a bit. Only for fandom to say "nah," so he showed his true colors, and went bad again. Then there was that inversion after AXIS or whatever that dumb event was, and then he was on an Uncanny X-men team for a bit where he and Monet had a weird flirtation, so it was a bit unclear where Creed was mentally and morally.
Percy decided to make it crystal clear via this event. No doubt in anyone's mind who he is. He's a black hat wearing villain, through and through.

I don’t know if this image is gonna show up right, but just checked and they showed up in the first few pages of Wolverine #1. This actually has mad sad over some nameless background characters.
