Default "How to Read Comics the Marvel Way" Miniseries

Has anyone read this series? The protagonist was Spider-Man even though the title doesn't mention him.

The last issue had Spider-Man visit the "real world" and witness his creation as a character back in the 60s.

I like that while the story was wacky, it also made enough sense to fit into the mainstream continuity.

Assuming this story is canon, this is the time second time Spider-Man visited a fictional version of the real world, the first one being Marvel 1985, which may or may not have taken place in the Millarverse. When you think about it, he should be able to guess what Deadpool is talking about whenever he breaks the fourthwall by now.

The last issue also featured what was essentially Marvel's, or at least the writer's, thoughts in regards to the comic book sales controversy, stating that while the popularity of the superhero comics are declining, the popularity of manga and kid geared comics (like those published by Scholastic) means the comic book medium is as popular as ever, if not more popular than before. This was told through Spider-Man's mouth.

A third time Spider-Man visited a version of the real world is when he met Stan Lee at the end of the TAS cartoon. However, that is not canon to the comics while the other two examples are possibly canon.
