Black suits him well, given his personality.
Black, white and red... aren't those the colors of the defunct Imperial Germany?
Bringing over from FORCE WORKS thread...
Speaking of...I appreciated the effort to give Walker a costume that wasn't a Rogers cast-off. The art was certainly...special.

Does anyone else here thinks that John Walker is a character who never reached his full potential? Writers could be using him to address the darker side of American patriotism, but most storylines just focus on the fact he's a "poor man's Captain America". His first solo mini was just a means to conclude the Scourge of the Underworld plot. The Jerry Ordway mini...was not good, IMHO. And the Christopher Priest mini was good, but weird.

This is something that I have long thought had to happen. A government team that is NOT a bunch of criminals looking for a pardon. Actual members of the US Law Enforcement, military and intelligence community who are supers and are recruited for super human law enforcement and investigation.
All I wanted was to be unconditionally loved while never having to work on my flaws. Is that so much to ask?
