If we go by the letter of the theories, there's no capitalist country either. None that only has armed forces and judges to defend country and property (as Adam Smith recognized to be duties of a sovereign government). Maybe if Milei sees his vision trough, we'll see one arise in Argentina.

I would have been more charitable if the OP had written "I moved back in with my parents after college because the job market is terrible. now I am constantly fighting with my MAGA Trump supporting family over whether America is becoming socialist or not. " since I've argued with family about this specific issue in the past.

I couldn't put my finger on why I was suspicious until I remembered that they've done this before.
