I also like the text boxes used here to explain why this scenario and not another one (simply destroying the station). Good work to address what otherwise would have been a lot of people questioning the storyline. Also demonstrates Lorna having thought this through. So it doubles as explaining what some might have considered a "plot hole" and as deeper insight into the character. That thought put into Lorna's POV is something that was sadly lacking in too many depictions over her history (and the past decade), and it's great to see the thought put into it here.

I still don’t even slightly get why he’s doing all of this as a past-tense narration when there’s no frame story, no “Call me Ishmael”. At least have Askani telling it to some kids at a campfire or something.
