I definitely think this is the route they're taking. Galactus will probably destroy their world and that's how they get pulled into the main MCU.

Pretty sure a very small fraction of the movie audience knows who Norrin Radd is, so it's negligible.

Seems a waste to not use Frankie Raye's Nova instead, she is a vastly more well know herald vs the alt reality D-list Shalla-Bal Silver Surfer. She really reads like a What If...? story that some editor just approved.

I'd like to think this decision came from the story they wanted to tell rather than just picking characters then figuring out a story afterwards, or Feige wanting to avoid Norin because he was in the other movie.

If this is an alt earth and the alt earth surfer and they end up in the mcu by movies end they may be saving nova for the main universe.
