Geoff Johns is the worst at writing couples. He uses too many shortcuts to force a couple together: Destiny (Carter and Kendra), Time Jumps (Jesse Quick had never even spoken to Hourman before, suddenly they're already married, and too many readers just blindly accept it?), etc.
