Failed i wouldn't say so but annoying and over saturated by Gillen yes.
And to your observation i believe you are correct. I forgot how the Phalanx played into this. I remember Powers of X and House of X i saw them. But its been a while

The art looks really nice, but honestly, I have just completely checked out of this moment of X-Men comics. Besides RoM, it's all so uninteresting and I'm bored, and despite being very uncertain and unenthused about what may come next, I'm ready for this to be over.

I agree completely. The fall has been dragging on and on it seems like.

... I'm curious to see how it all wraps up, but I'm with you Mother Righteous, which is sad because she's the best visual on a villain in a long, long time.
