"Danielle... I intend to do something rash and violent." - Betsy Braddock
Krakoa, Arakko, and Otherworld forever!
People theorising that they cleverly let him out on purpose and have a tracker on him will be disappointed but the trenchcoat and hat are a real good touch to evoke old school Beast
I simply do not understand. After 5 years of trashing Hank's character, even going so far as to say he's been evil from the beginning, now they're reminiscing about him and saying stuff like this? Does Percy just lie to sell his current story only to later say 'lol no this is what's really happening'?
Edit: And come to think of it, isn't Dark Beast the thing that's supposed to drive the real Hank to be better? What purpose does DB's existence even serve at this point?

placeholder signature until I can think of something.
Poor Wolverine working quadruple duty between 2 Duggan books and two Percy books.
"Cable was right!"
Ben Percy's X-Force had a strong start and a mediocre middle but looks like it will be going out with a bang. He's been killing it over on Wolverine with LaValle and X-Force also looks poised to deliver a strong finale.
Looks good, I'm in! Keen to see how this resolves and I hope friendly Beast sticks around!!

Beast in a trench coat. Excellent timing with the new trailer for X-Men 97. I hope Percy sticks the landing on this.
I hope #50 does beast justice. Young beast didn't cut it lol. With this new era I want beast good and on a team again not killing or all mad scientisty
X-Men Forever
This Beast nonsense is utter shite.
Another character who has been garbage since the early 90’s.
The original X-Factor was a brilliant read, the characters have been absolutely muck since they rejoined the X-Men.
I don't think Beast has been garbage since the 90s. I know the Threnody thing gets thrown in from time to time. In the stories some of the characters have to make difficult decisions. I don't think a few morally gray areas leads to what Beast is now, despite what some may have heard on a podcast or an interview with the writer. Though Beast has had more than his fill of murky areas - but trying to kill a child with cancer or you know the casual genocide - Percy went so far.
Again my theory is that they leaned in to the fact that a lot of online fans already hated Beast because he was set up against Cyclops who fans adore. I'm old enough to recall when Cyke was not a favorite online but the radicalized Scott changed a lot of that. Now Beast is set against another mega popular character in Wolverine. The character doesn't have a chance.
There should have been a twist that Beast was actually right but that is impossible to do when he's decapitating his teammates and trying to kill a little girl who survived cancer. Yikes. I am definitely eager to see how Beast is brought back from the brink... and if fans online will accept his redemption (assuming that is where we are headed).
