Default DC Comics Graphic Novel Collection by Eaglemoss

Hey all! I have been eye balling a couple of these hardcovers on Ebay. Apparently they are UK editions. Can anyone here give their thoughts on these collections? Do you recommend? Any problems with them that I should be aware of? Looking to buy the hardcover for the Return of Barry Allen but didn't want to pull the trigger until I heard from some fans what they think.

    Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I live in the UK and have bought a few of them to fill holes in my collection. They were all sturdy and have held up to repeated reading. Spines don't quite match the American hardcovers, but the difference is minimal.

What era does the collection cover? I'm mostly interested in the silver and bronze ages if that helps, thanks.

I have the Eaglemoss hardcover version of Legends (the Wein/Ostrander/Byrne miniseries that followed Crisis on Infinite Earths and set up the Giffen/DeMatteis Justice League and Ostrander's Suicide Squad). It's a sturdy hardcover, and they decided to include Firestorm #1 as a bonus issue at the end.

But honestly, I wish I had a regular Legends trade paperback instead of this Eaglemoss hardcover edition.

They jumped all over the place, mostly collecting key modern stories and runs in no specific order. The spines of the hardcovers display larger images if shelved in publication order (which means the books won't be in any logical order on your shelf, but the spines will look nice).

Normally I would never cite to Wikipedia, but it works for something like a list of all the publications:

There was also a Batman only collection from Eaglemoss:
