    I love Sampere's art.

Just to be clear, I've never read any of King's work before, so I have no preconceived notions regarding King or strong emotions. That being said, while I do like a lot about this run, I genuinely hate his writing style. I think he has great ideas, but his writing is aggravating.

A great visual there! Looking forward to the cast and action in this issue.

    Diana rocking the pony tail.

That last panel in the preview is quite the visual indeed. Can almost feel the rumble.
“Look, you can’t put the Superman #77s with the #200s. They haven’t even discovered Red Kryptonite yet. And you can’t put the #98s with the #300s, Lori Lemaris hasn’t even been introduced.” — Sam
“Where the hell are you from? Krypton?” — Edgar Frog

I really don't like Diana calling him "Steven" instead of Steve.

But that page with Giganta's hand bursting out is pretty epic.

I can feel the palpable chemistry between Diana and Steve under King's pen. And that's sarcasm .

So Diana is going to solo the villains and lose...what about the Wonder Girls?

The art is still gorgeous and Diana still sounds like an AI

King & Sampere are using the villains in some unique ways here. Having Angle Man use his Angler to enhance(?) Dr. Psycho's abilities and having Giganta launch her attack from underground are pretty ground breaking(no pun intended). These panels put a shiver down my spine with what could come next for Wonder Woman.

That is some badass paneling. We're definitely going to be in for a hell of a fight.

Very curious what the others are going to do.

Giganta's hand emerging from under the ground is not only striking AF, but it evokes iconic imagery associated with horror films. I LOVE IT! It's a great way to imbue the scene not just with memorable action but with dread. Cannot wait!!!

King still with having Diana talk like a robot. No contractions. "Steven."

She can talk like a human being, Tom.

I'm reminded that Diana's speech thing here is cause King is writing her as someone whose English isn't their first language.

So the stilted way of speaking and lack of contractions is supposed to be intentional on part of the writer.

She sounds more like an upper class snob than a foreigner. She's been written as verbose before, but never to such a caricaturish extent.
