Oh! I am loving it. Poor May, though. I have a feeling her fear of the current costume will be the impetus for Peter to adopt a more Friendly Neighborhood vibe.

Maybe May is the one who design the suit and MJ finalize it.

Interesting that there' interspersing his "first night" with the day after. I wonder if we'll be getting consecutive nights of him doing Spidey stuff until he runs into Shocker or if it'll flashback to that too, because as it is feels a little early for him to be making the news without doing anything important.

Also looks like the kids obviously don't know but how much does MJ actually know?

He did mention he was out at nights for weeks, the last book was January now it is February, at least of month of low street crimes.
I do hope he does tell her, this Peter seems like he would keep secrets from his MJ.

Oh I just realize something, who took the photo of him, I doubt it was Peter, it would mentioned or credit him in the paper.

Let's see. Al Ewing is returning to Venom, Spec. Spider-Men is coming out soon, Superior Spider-Man and Spider-Boy are both telling excellent well crafted stories, and this comic is coming out next week. Life is good for Spider-Man fans... who ignore Amazing Spider-Man.

And there was that one time he was holding up a pretty large train car and on the verge of crushing some goon to death with it because he was pissed off that day in the post-Clone Saga 90s comics.

But usually Peter has to be in a really bad mood to show us what he’s truly capable of. But here in the panel he’s just casually experimenting with his new found powers.

Which I find impressive and scary at the same time lol

I like that May finds Proto-Spidey scary while Richard thinks it's CGI. That's fun. Agreeing with the people theorizing that that's the reason Peter is gonna create the red and blue suit.

Also, I'm guessing this Peter either has organic webbing or his suit is making webs for him.

This preview is looking damn good. I know it's early but this series is bringing back my love for Spider-Man.

Looks like some people were right about who discovered Peter's identity, but it kinda disappoints me it wasn't Mary Jane. (She should notice something weird on the man she sleeps with).

Black always makes Spidey more scary and less "friendly neighborhood", so I guess this will motivate him to create the red and blue's costume.

Speaking of discovering Peter's identity . . . I wonder what'll happen if/when Uncle Ben does. Given Uncle Ben didn't die when Peter was a teenager and Peter only gained his powers as a full-fledged adult in this universe . . . I think we could be surprised. Whether that's for good or for ill . . . I can't even begin to guess.
