For me, at least, it has to be M.A.S.K.

Those little green army men. My favorites were grenade throwing guy and the extra stabby guy. The worst were the guys laying prone. WTF just put them down the garbage disposal!

I think every boy before the '80s had them, while the little dinosaurs were more gender neutral.

The old GI Joes were good. But I really loved the ones in the 80s and later. The smaller ones with cool characters and fun vehicles and playsets. I had so much fun with those little figures. I really wanted the USS FLag playset but it was too expensive and looking at all the stuff it came with I am kind of glad I never got. A lot of money to spend on lost pieces.

That said, my vote goes to Tinkertoys.

My mother, however, insists the best toy I had was a Lite-Brite.

I had both, plus Lincoln Logs.

Best board game? Monopoly or Trivial Pursuit (I was an adult for the latter) for me.

What other toy came with actual Uranium?

My mother gave me grief over Play-Doh ("Don't get any of it on the rug!) and my siblings and I weren't allowed to have a science lab kit. Therefore, you can infer what my parents would have said over this.
