Default What if Bruce Wayne was The Amazing Spider-Man?

Could you envision Bruce Wayne as Spider-Man instead of Batman?

Bruce Wayne's training, with Spider powers would be pretty unfair for most metahumans.

So in the wake of his parents’ death, young Bruce gets a tour of one of the Wayne research facilities (likely from Lucius Fox), who’s trying to get the poor kid out of his shell, and he gets bitten by a radioactive spider.

He’d still undertake a lot of training, and devise equipment to aid his crime fighting, though both would be more geared to complimenting his powers.

And Bruce being Bruce he’d still adopt a dark persona.

He'd probably be Tarantula instead of Spider-Man.

It only takes a nudge to move this to an Amalgam mash up.
He could be the Dark Spider. Black Cat has always been a Selina rip off so amalgamating them is pretty much just using Selina, but to make a distinction she could just be The Cat. The Joker/Sabertooth combo Hyena has that animal totem already there to fit into Spidey's rogue gallery.

Imagine the terrible Sony spin-off movies...

WAIT! They'd probably make a Killer Moth movie!!!

A terrible, terrible Killer Moth movie.
"Has Sariel summoned you here, Azrael? Have you come to witness the miracle of your brethren arriving on Earth?"

"I WILL MIX THE ASHES OF YOUR BONES WITH SALT AND USE THEM TO ENSURE THE EARTH THE TEMPLARS TILLED NEVER BEARS FRUIT AGAIN!"

"*sigh* I hoped it was for the miracle."

Dan Watters' Azrael was incredible, a constant delight and perhaps too good for this world (but not the Forth). For the love of St. Dumas, DC, give us more!!!

Crime would actually go down with all the bones Bruce would break with his Spider-strength.

I really think Bruce armed with a Symbiote would be absolutely terrifying.

    Probably would even frighten Joker.

    ^^^Oh man, I wasn’t even thinking Symbiote!

I just figured Bruce’d go for the black color scheme, then I found a pic w. bats!

I'm kinda curious how Peter would work as bat like superhero.

    "The boisterous bat". ?

^^^Probably he’d be a lot like Terry McGinnis.

Which is to say, he’d train himself but would never be a peak human in terms of physical stats and fighting skill.
He'd compensate for that though, w. tech.

He was smart enough at sixteen to invent web fluid, a way to use that web fluid, and spider tracers, which interact w. his freaking spider sense.

He’d definitely be able to put a beyond type suit together.

I thought of Peter as a bat totem so he'd probably use tech to augment his abilities or help control them.

    ^^^Thats another way to go!

I was never a fan of the Totem thing, for a variety of reasons. But TBF i disliked pretty much everything that was done with (to) Peter since the mid to late nineties.

It’s only been since about 2018 that I became regular reader again, and it’s still kind of hard to stick w. at times!

I wanted to keep the origins the same. Bruce is non powered and Pete deals with a weird bat bite. There are so many vampire jokes to make.
