What crimes are making news around your way?

In OZ we have the story of a Sydney former news presenter and his boyfriend who have gone missing with blood found in their apartment. A serving police officer and former partner is being sought. He was fond of having his pic taken with celebs including Taylor Swift (currently on tour in Oz!). Anyone heard about this one?
