Can't wait. I'm really enjoying this run and this looks like an awesome and thoughtful homage to Giffen. R.I.P.

Lots of people joining to the party. Among characters and creators.

I'm glad Blue Beetle is getting this support. Great that it looks to be doing pretty decent.

    That cover is awesome!

Unfortunately I haven’t been enjoying this second run by Trujillo. Blood Scarab was just some random guy and I still don’t understand how the red scarab was made. Did the pharaoh/mummy just turn into a beetle?

Wow I thought maybe just the cover would be the tribute to Keith Giffen but this looks like it’s the whole story. That’s great!

The JLI and Ambush Bug. I wonder if the Legion will make an appearance.

Hope this goes better for Booster than "The Gift" did.

Jaime getting transported to the JLI era is a fun idea I'm surprised haven't been done before.

    Oh look, semi-normal Max Lord!

I hope it goes better than "The Gift"... it would be hard to be worse!

I see this more like in the 2008 Booster Gold series, when he went back to the original JLI headquarters trying to get proof of Max Lord's existence (this was during Brightest Day, when Max came back and was able to make the entire world, minus a few members of the JLI, forget his existence.) Booster thought of this solution but got sidetracked when he had a chance to hang out with his then-currently-deceased friend Ted.
... the whole "rescue Ted who is bouncing around the time stream" also reminded me of the plot in that same series when Booster himself was bouncing around time due to contact with the Perforated Man, who had been overexposed to the time stream.

If the cover is being honest, they should. I hope they do.

It seems like they will. Apparently Josh Trujillo put a "supplemental reading" list out on Twitter for this issue with some Legion stories on it, Lobo and the Heckler, too.

Yeah, it is a Giffen homage issue. You have to put in the characters than Giffen wrote, not those than other people invented badly.

    And has been published..
    as a teim travel story....
    so is CANON.
    end of spoilers
