I am not trying to convince you of anything, we are having a discussion. If I spent my time trying to get the small amounts of people to like the new52 I would never get to post in other forums, cause people don't change there minds easily lol.
    Pulls:
Coffin: La Muerta, Lady Death, Hellwitch. Valiant: Shadowman. DC: Poison Ivy.

Most people hate the New 52. It's alienated long-time readers like me.

I have been reading dc since I was born (it was read to me as a little one :P) it did not alienate all long time readers.

    "Most people" love the new52.

Edit: But I am done discussing this for tonight, night all.

Most people hate the New 52. The number of people not reading the New 52 far outnumbers the number of people who are.

Are you taking in the numbers of people that don't read/never have looked comics in there lives? Cause if so yes. Cause they don't read comics anyways. But thats like saying a tv show sucks cause the Amish dont watch it. If they don't read comics they don't read comics haha.

I am really wondering where you are getting this from, like where are your numbers based on?

For my money, DC is better now than they've been in 15 years, by a wide margin.

By the way, I am 100% positive that "catbatfan" is a troll who's been banned by multiple other message boards, because they're repeating the same stuff here that they did there. For what it's worth. I won't be responding to him.

15 years? There was tons of stuff coming out at the beginning of the 2000's.

    - Geoff Johns on the Flash
    - Post-Zero Hour Legion of Super-heroes
    - Brubaker/Rucka on Batman
    - Kelly on Superman
"In any time, there will always be a need for heroes." - the Time Trapper, Legion of Superheroes #61(1994)

Every era has its own good stuff. I just think they have more good stuff now than they have at any time since the late-90s.

I'm the opposite. I'll take the vast majority of stuff coming out in the late 90's than anything from the New 52.

I don't normally agree with you (HEAT was wrong), but I do agree on this point.

"My" era is the early-to-mid 90s, around 1992-1999. The post-Our World at War until Infinite Crisis era is the lowest point for me, I was down to only one DC book a month (The Legion). Infinite Crisis/One Year Later got me back as a regular reader, but it wasn't until the New 52 that I've loved the DCU like I did when I was a new reader.

The number of people who didn't read any era's comics far outnumbered the number of people who did, too. What is important, however, is if DC has sold more comics with the New 52 than it did right before the reboot. Unquestionably, the answer is yes. Will it stay that way? Only time will tell.

Just because it's selling doesn't mean people like it.

That could be said (I guess ) of any time in comic book history, too. Maybe fans of the pre-COIE universe and the DCU bought comics while despising them, also. IOW, sales is the only reasonable way to measure love or hate for a comic.

I can agree that sells doesn't mean necessarily quality. But are you telling us that people is dumb and masoquist, and buy every month comics that doesn't like it? U R MAD?!
