Probably the only All New, All Different X-book right now.
I'd rather have Surge than the Storm fangirl as an electric mutant, though.
Bringing back the old, killing the young: that's the Marvel way
Definitely got the Junji Ito vibe, I'll definitely check it out.
I'm a huge fan of her art, let her cook.
I like how some people are super into this or super out. Personally I'm in. Love the style.
This seems like it'll be a slow burn with all the world building it'll have to do, I imagine the pacing will feel slow.
As a fan of the original Ultimate X-Men this is a brutal disappointment. Don’t know why you wouldn’t make this it’s own thing because as an Ultimate X-Men book man this isn’t it.
The art is gorgeous, but I'm not a fan of any of the characters so far.
I’m a big fan of Armor since the Whedon days. I’ll give it a chance. I’m thinking Marvel is trying to appeal to the anime crowd and entice them to come to comics since anime is killing it in sales compared to comics.
Goods for me. I'll try this one as something new and different from the mainstream title.
Peerless and Fearless
This looks interesting and Momoko is doing a great job channeling Junji Ito, but it doesn't really feel like an Ultimate X-Men book.
Cold still be fun though.
It certainly feels like a square being pushed through a round hole atm.
I’ll buy it but and try to think of it as just a story, push the ultimate x-men thing out of my brain while reading it. If marvel wants it to read as UX then I hope we have the names of an x-men team established before the first arc ends. She doesn’t have to join them but there should be a team operating in the world and we should know the majority, if not all, of the names in the roster.
This is a pull for me for the art alone.
The Krakoans are EEEvil!
THEY MUST BE STOPPED!
I was going to do the first issue to make sure I wasn’t missing anything, but the preview makes it look worse than I was expecting. I don’t want to read a Marvel Manga. Could you imagine this as part of a crossover? Part one: USM. Part two: UBP. Part three: …this.
Nope. Too different for me. Great for the target audience though. Whoever that is.
