Well, explains why they all came together, as nonsensical as it may be. Art looks decent, and it’s got two of the best Wolverine variants in it (AoA Weapon X and OML) so I’m buying.
“Not as good as I once was… but I’m as good, once, as I ever was.”
I'll give it a shot - Gage knows how to have fun with a premise like this.
"The First X-Men." But they can't all be home runs. Seriously, though, the guy's a solid writer, constantly improving, he's got a good sense of character, and he's not shy about admitting when he could have/would have liked to have executed something better than it turned out on the page. So I try to keep up with his X-Office and original work.
So I guess they're just ignoring the AoA developments in Uncanny X-Force and X-Treme X-Men? I suppose it's possible that after Secret Wars, Earth-295 was restored to an earlier period.
I really wish AOA was the one form Uncanny X-force. Oh well will buy as it's Wolverine lol. And I did read original x-men one shot
X-Men Forever
I am guessing that some of these Wolverines are going to die. Certainly, Earth X Logan.
It's weird seeing Earth X Logan again. I was under the impression that his world didn't exist anymore after what happened in Uncanny Avengers vol.2 (Kang the Conqueror saved Mayday Parker from certain doom but no one else). Although, I guess it could have been rebooted after Secret Wars.

"The Enigma Force is not a tool to be manipulated by mortals. The Enigma Force comes to those it deems worthy. What temerity, what arrogance, makes you think you are worthy? Have you not all made mistakes? Unforgiveable ones?" - Captain Universe

the only good thing here is the oddball wolverine team. Otherwise, it feels very fan-fiction-y.
Cannot understand why they teased Jean Grey returning as Phoenix for literal months now in the main-storyline while releasing at the same time several side storylines, where she is Phoenix again doing multiversal work.
Because they suck lol. Jean will returning x-men Forever while this is just and au Jean. I'm guessing weapon x is from a different timeliness then the one form Uncanny X-force same as old man Logan who died in his timeline
X-Men Forever
First AoA Wolverine calls EX Wolverine 'f-a-t-s-o', body-shaming him like he's in an old episode of Cannon...
Then we get a completely random lecture on pronoun usage from EX Wolverine, and Jane tells us how non-binaries have existed throughout the ages, and were considered so commonplace as to be 'hardly unusual' in 1909 on her Earth?
Gage seems to be trying to deliberately separate the Wolverines into woke/non-woke subgroups. That is certainly... a choice. Wonder how he will align OML and Zomberine?
This has a talented creative team so I'll be reading.
