The military isn't for everyone. I watched guys crash and burn before they even made it through Navy boot camp which isn't a fraction as tough as what recruits go through in the Army and Marines. It takes plenty of discipline and devotion to be in the Armed Forces, regardless of if you're on a battlefield or a battleship. I was fortunate to have spent twenty years in the Navy (1976-1996), an experience I wouldn't have traded for anything.

I cleaned potato chip bagging machines, wiping down excess oil and making sure the areas touching food were clean.
I’ll don the mask and wear the cape
If I am super, how can I wait?

I didn't start working until after finishing university. I focused on my studies first, graduating with a degree in Communication. My first job, which I started two years ago and still hold, is as a sales customer representative. I found this position through Afni Careers and it's been a great fit for me.

Working in sales has allowed me to use my communication skills effectively, helping customers find solutions that meet their needs. I enjoy the dynamic environment and the satisfaction of resolving issues and facilitating positive outcomes. The experience has been fulfilling, teaching me valuable skills in customer service and business operations.

Burger King. I don’t remember what I was paid. It was awful and the reason I will never eat a burger from there again.
I love their chicken sandwiches though.

Thats the only thing I eat from BK. And I miss their line of "international" chicken sandwiches - the French and Italian versions.

I don’t know if it’s still the same but back in the 80s we’d feed the frozen burger patties into the flame broiler and put them on buns when they came out. They’d immediately be put into a steam table located right at the broiler outlet. That was the hottest job in the place and a cloud of steam would hit us in the face every time we opened the lid to the steam table. We’d be constantly dripping sweat all over the burgers. It was gross af.
The chicken sandwich is cooked in a deep fryer which is much more sanitary.

So that's why you can have it your way at BK, some of 'you' is already in it! LOL/JK

I had a cousin who worked at a KFC, she told me if you knew how the food was prepared you'd never eat it again.
