He was the first artist I ever saw, FWIW. He appeared on Wonderama circa '73 as DC's publisher, but he did some drawing on the show, too.

Too many greats to choose from but Doug Mahnke‘s work on JLA basically got me to start buying comics regularly, so I have to go with his work as the most important to me.
