I think Gail Simone was the author that pushed Giganta back into WW spotlight, right? Got to give her credit for that

I think Allan Heinberg and the Dodsons got the ball rolling with reintroducing the updated version of Giganta early on in the volume that would evolve into the Simone run, but it was the latter writer who did the lion share of character work bringing Giganta back to prominence.
