No mention of Jean, Storm, Bobby, Magneto (even though he's in the promo art) can I dare to hope that they're all part of a fourth book "The Omega Levels" overlooking mutants and humanity from a secret place while the X-Teams integrate into and live among human society?

Jean and Storm are getting solos. Magneto had concept art shown for Cyclops team, so he's solidly locked there.

No idea where Bobby is but X-Force and X-Factor was announced as team books for later down the line.

- “X-Men” will find Scott Summers going home to Alaska, leading a team using cerebra to find struggling mutants in need. Written by Jed MacKay, inked by Ryan Stegman.

- Ryan Stegman puts his own stamp on the characters. Oya has been rebranded as Temper.

The Uncanny X-Men finds Gambit returning to Louisiana with Rogue, who find 4 new mutant outliers. Written by Gail Simone and inked by David Marquez.

- Rogue, Gambit, and their new mutants become “Outlaw Heroes” in New Orleans in this arc. Tom Brevoort promises this era of X-Men puts characters back in the real world with non-mutants.

- Gail Simone says the new mutants she co-created are inspired by the way fans connect with X-Men by feeling different and outcast. Tom Brevoort wants readers to cry every month when reading.

Wait and see with this one.

Me too. Wish I could say the same about the other teams.

Kwannon looks stellar. Juggernaut looks good. But overall it's a safe launch. Nothign really to make me go WTF but also not much to get hyped on yet. Of course Uncanny seems tailor made for me. Just missing Laura and Lucas in that title and it would be solid gold.

Glad Emma is part of the book focusing on the students but I'm disappointed their new. We had good moments with the Cuckoos despite not having anything with Catseye. Also her costume is weird. The second image is such a better design.

Super easy pass for me.

Overall, I’m cautiously optimistic. The only thing I’m really excited about is Simone’s Uncanny. That is an awesome team. I think Cyclops’ team looks good too, particularly with Magik and Psylocke, and that’s the best costume he’s had in years. I’m a big fan of Kate too so I’m happy to see her headlining a book.

I am a bit disappointed that there are so many new characters, especially when so many are missing, but I’m willing to give them a shot.

Not completely sold yet on any team as it certainly looks, feels and sounds very back to basics but...I remain open. Waiting to see covers and interior previews.

And Emma's B costume is the best of the set and what she decided on isn't that great.

It just looks so much like one of Chris Claremont’s failed reboots. Especially the Kitty storyline. Love CC of course and always grateful!

As far as looks go I’m really into the updated costumes for Jubilee, Rogue, Wolverine, Gambit, Kwannon, Cyclops, Juggernaut and Emma.

Kate (Kitty) as always has the worst uniforms and outfits.
