I'm assuming it's probably going to be a pivot tonally from FoX (not that Duggan's taken the storyline that seriously anyways but...).

Simone wrote Secret Six but she also wrote Birds of Prey, Action Comics, and Wonder Woman.

New 52 Batgirl as well.

I don't like her work on solo titles as much as on team books. They're good, they just aren't as good. And I'm not saying she can't write more standard superheroics really well, just that she's even better at the darker stuff. She's written two books at the same time before, though. I say give her X-men and X-Force.

I wonder why Marvel didn't announce all this at C2E2. I guess they wanted to sync up the announcement with the hype of "X-Men '97."
And I can't wait until Beau DeMayo finally speaks out on his firing.

C2E2 is too late. June solicits are coming out next week, and July solicits are coming out the third week of April. The books are coming out in July. C2E2 is the last week of April so that's too late.

Honestly i never read Gail Simone's books but she seems like a fun ride so she's 100% the main reason i'm interested. I do hope she got a big title

I thought that was her weakest work, TBH, but I hated the whole idea of the New 52 and missed Babs as Oracle.
