As with Hickman's epic reboot of the brand, I will at least give Gail Simone a chance, I just hope she takes a more traditional route and not try to match current day superhero comic standards. If the X-Men becomes just another generic "Girlbook", that will effectively kill any reboot of the brand.

Just looked up Nicola Scott, I agree she would be awesome and much suited as a flagship artist. hopefully she isn't signed to DC

On X, Nicola said she left the Titans because she was only signed up for the first 5 issues as she didn't want to commit to a monthly book. But again, very few artists do every issue of their ongoing books these days, especially if Brevoort is looking to ship more than 12 issues a year on some of the books like he mentioned in a recent newsletter... Scott alternating with the likes of David Marquez would be a win-win.
