    Power with Girl is better.

    Oooooh…now I understand.

I haven’t seen any of the Hammond series since the original airings. Didn’t even remember that his version was missing those elements.

Think they're fairly rare on home video, I think and haven't had any recent DVD release, or haven't had a streaming release (Think the Japanese series actually got a streaming release on Marvel.com itself for a while).

Even overseas which sometimes happens I think the best is a laserdisc.

They aired on sci fi channel both the show and movies for years after they first aired. The movies and some episodes of the show were released on vhs but not dvd or digital in america. (other than bootlegs)

Japan spider-man series and its miss america spin-off, "masked rider" crossover and big screen movie were all on vhs and dvd in japan.

The electric co live spider-mans some ended up on the electric co dvds.

Ironic 3 dev adam did get a limited dvd release in america but not the 70s movies! How ironic.

I'm kind of surprised Marvel hasn't done something comic-wise like DC's continuations of the Superman/Batman/Wonder Woman movies and TV shows to the pre-MCU era of films and shows.

Although I'm guessing it's a bit more complicated than that.

You mean like a Spider-Man ‘77 comic or Incredible Hulk ‘78 comic?

Not sure if marvel has the rights to 70s hulk and spidey. Isn't both the shows and movies owned by universal? Then again universal did give the ok for 70s hulk to show up in the lego marvel games but bet marvel would have clear it with them first to make comics. Think marvel does own the three japan shows, however.

Something along those lines. I can see it for the Hulk at least.

Al Ewing did actually incorporate Mcgee and Frye from the show into his IMMORTAL HULK, although both characters were changed fairly radically-Mcgee for example was turned from a reporter who was pretty much an expy of Gerard (From the Fugitive) into a reporter who was allied with and envied the Hulk; while Dell was made from a villain into a more sympathetic character to a degree.

However I think the characters have been in a bit of limbo since IH and Gamma Flight ended though.

I can see it for the Hulk, too.

The show put a spin on the character that was successful in its time and that still holds nostalgic appeal for what I imagine is a significant group of people.

The Spidey show, not so much. I’d be surprised if anyone is longing to see that “universe” revisited.
