When you look.back, can you remember how many times your heart has been broken? That feeling where you loved or cared about someone so much and you feel like you can't go on without them.

It can be a break-up, someone you wanted but they weren't interested in you or you made a monumental mistake that they couldn't get over.

S’funny; looking back at my life, if I added up all the times I thought my heart had been broken, the number would by in the high double digits.

In reality though, it’s only been a few times.

The first was my girlfriend at the end of high school. Second was my girlfriend the beginning of senior year in college. Then grown-up me had a final one. My 20th wedding anniversary is this September, so I've moved past all of them.

My heart also broke when my grandfather died.
