So asking here because of her close M13, Captain Brit, and Pete Wisdom connections. While not a mutant I would put her under the "X-Men" banner. What ever happened to Spitfire. Surprised I have not seen anything about her in the upcoming Bloodhunt crossover.

Who? I thought she was an enhanced superhero through two blood transfusions from the OG Human Torch as well as vampiric abilities are received after being bitten by her uncle Baron Blood. None of her history says mutant. Originally Posted by danielsan52

I think the mutant part was added because a blood transfusion from Jim Hammon wouldn't automatically make a normal human super-fast -- regardless of the vampire bite preceding it.

Handbook entries tend to tell what the writer is thinking...for example the WW2 Red Guardian entry says he was killed during the experiments that "created his successor, Alexei Shostakov" implying that Shostakov was a super soldier...but that has never been something confirmed in an story.
