Gotta say... the LoSH idea just made sense. Super teams make sense when you have multiple heroes, super teams with official support and funding also make sense.

Yeah, it doesn't hurt when team members are related to the richest person in the galaxy and the President of the United Planets, not to mention one of them being the sovereign ruler of a planet.

Right, that's why I added that a potential writer should at least be interested in learning the history. They should like the concept and then invest time in the history -- not every details, but character traits and major events.

I don't know what Geoff Johns' future plans are, but I don't have any confidence in him being involved. He dropped the ball too many times already.

That was a retcon written for Secret Origins in the 1980s. I think it was the origin of Chemical King whose name was Condo Arlik. He didn't have a big part in the reboot, but a romance between him and Lyle Norg (Invisible Kid) may have been hinted at.

Did they really hint to this relationship or was it just wishful thinking?
It was hinted, but, mostly, I think it was fans' wishful thinking. Invisible Kid's death involved his fascination with a girl that supposedly didn't exist (I really don't remember the details. It's been a looooonnnnnnnggggg time since I've read it). I was even surprised, because I read the story of his death after I had heard the gay rumors. However, it was established that Lyle was sort of a mentor to Condo (that was Chemical King's name, Condo Arlik), and that the later became quite despondent after the former's death. Then came the Post Zero Hour Reboot, and while Condo Arlik was merely a TV reporter in that reality, there were hints of Lyle's sexuality. First, despite the advances of some of his female collegues, Lyle never got romantically involved with anyone. And, later on, there was a story that foccused on Lyle's past, showing that Lyle had a deep connection with Jacques Foccart, the same one that later on, in the original continuity, took over the mantle of Invisible Kid, after Lyle's death. As far as I know, nothing was ever set in stone about either's sexuality, but there were strong hints, and a lot of wishful thinking from the fans.

    Peace

Exactly. Details can be left out, but traits and major events must be respected. Still the more important thing is the coherence.

The sad thing is he never wrote a proper Legion title. Just back ups and appearances in the Superman tittle, the Final Crisis Legion of three worlds. But never, the real Legion of Super-Heroes title. Kind of funny how some talk of his era when he never had the chance to write a Legion book.

The only Nuclear Man that I can recall is the villain from the movie Superman IV, and I can't find him anywhere in those pictures, nor anyone that ressembles him. Is there another?
