From the Ashes Trailer from Marvel

Didn’t get a chance to see the trailer, from what I can see here I’m not impressed with the casts and the costumes look very disappointing. The MacKay book has the best cast, but I really don’t care for Stegman’s art. I’ve heard good things about Eve Ewing and I like Carnero’s art so I’ll probably check that out. Right now Uncanny doesn’t interest me, maybe the premise will change my mind.

With X-Men ‘97 right around the corner, I think bad costumes were inevitable. We’re lucky they didn’t just reuse the Jim Lee looks, at least.

I'm sensing (or choosing to sense) that the exclusion of Jean and Ororo means (a) they're doing things too big to reveal at this point and (b) they may be on a team book together again. We'll see.

I can't see them teasing Storm doing something in Women of Marvel for her to just not do anything. She may not be in one of the big 3 but I doubt she's totally gone.

...perhaps "Prisoner X" is Selene... and the person walking with the canes was Betsy... (Maybe a spoil for the X-Men Unlimited going down right now.)

I'm not sure if that's M. The other person reminded me of Cassandra Nova.

Man. So many great mutants missing from these teams. IDK if I can hang. I'm definitely going to give Gail's team a chance though. Really not a fan of that costume for Cyclops.
