So issue 1 is literally just Immortal.
I was trying to do too much and not doing any of it as well as I could. But I've had a change of mind... though not everyone shall enjoy it. I will.

I'm still looking forward to this because everything is coming full circle from issue 1 of Immortal, and because Jean will finally do something, but it was mistake to make a Sinister Enigma.
It's retroactively blunted the impact of Hickman's excellent HoX/PoX. Sinister being the big bad is just awful on every level and is making the finale of Krakoa feel tedious because of Sinister overload.

Yeah, Gillen himself said in his newsletter than we he wrote the last X-Men Forever issue he thought to himself "I've finished Immortal X-Men." Originally Posted by berserkerclaw
Which also gives more credence to the theory that the Fall of X storyline was cut short by about six months.
