I think we may have seen an Inhumans movie instead of Eternals had it not been for the TV series. It being so much on the cheap didn't do the franchise any favors.

Seems like they were going to at one point. Going into Thanos Imperative it was found out that only Inhumans could get near the fault without being corrupted. Combined with them ruling the kree and having the Shi'ar under their thumb they were poised for major role but plans changed. I don't think they were sure who to push to the front with BB "dead". Then of course had editorial forcing Hickman to bring them back to earth in 2011.

^The thread title is in reference to Kate's Photoshopped family photo, not her recent absence from public life.

Though Marvel did do a cancer storyline at least three times to my knowledge. It's how Mar-Vell died (his powers meant chemotherapy didn't work), the other two are Firestar (who got it from her own powers) and Jane Foster (who died because her Thor powers were negating the chemo, but she was resurrected by Odin, gave up being Thor and recovered, later becoming Valkyrie).
