What is your favorite movie genre

I was wondering, what genres are most liked by comic fans apart from superheroes.
It's a multiple-choice poll. I left out animated movies, because I see it as more of a form than a separate genre.

Crime dramas, thrillers. Especially a good noir.

The tone, the symbolism, the characters, a good noir is timeless to me.

Some of those are a bit tough because they can also overlap other genres. The Sound of Music, for example, is a Historical Romantic Musical Comedy Drama

Definitely Action/Thriller. Films like Jaws, Predator, Jurassic Park, and Silence of the Lambs are my favorites.
