Not sure if this will work as well as recent video game movies (and might be even harder to convey in live-action than Sonic) but best of luck to them.

Well Google is saying the writer is Christopher Yost, I'm guessing that's who was mentioned in the now-deleted post.

He was heavily promoted as being in a segment of the Adam Sandler movie Pixels, but it wasn't about him per se.
