LOVED it all (Storm's scene in the desert turning the sand to glass & Scott using his beams for movement was fabulous!!!) with the small of exception of Jubilee. She's still bloody awful after all these years. Hopefully they'll keep her in the background.

The scene with Storm crawling was kind of brutal. I really wish they had shown Magneto go to her side for at least a moment rather than just pointing at her to make his case. But not everything can be perfect of course.

Omg! So loudly. This was the cherry on top of a perfect experience. I had high expectations but the quality of the animation, the characterization, the writing and the amount of things that happened surprised me a lot.

Cyclops, Storm and Magneto were brilliant in it. Their dilemas, power feats and dialogues were very strong. I live for the Rogneto drama! I love how cocky Roberto is. Glad to have some Brazilian representation in this show.

These are the versions of the character that the MCU should try and replicate.

Hope my girl Betsy actually shows up this season. Loved her fighting and hair flipping.

I really enjoyed the show, but I was quite disappointed by the Rogneto, I wasn't expecting it. I hope it doesn't drag on too long.
I did not expect Logan to bring the laughs. That had me rolling!

And also, the moment with Morph in the club, where Wolverine admits he’s not jealous, but actually hurt that Jean and Scott are leaving! Classic “push them away before they leave so I don’t have to admit what having them here means to me.” Oh, Wolvie, I feel you, hun!

Haaa! Though, Gambit mentions Rogue comes to his defense - that’ll probably be the first and last time she does that.

I thought episode two was the stronger episode (but if it makes me laugh, it does get bonus points), and also ends with a pair of jeans. I struggled with the first episode mostly because everything seemed to be going 2x speed. It was hard to understand what they were saying (note to self: turn subtitles back on). Storm’s moment was glorious - all the action scenes and powers were awesome. And I have a hard time admitting that about Cyke. I love him, but I can’t compute seeing him look cool and not be a dork.

The X-cutioner is the QAnon Shaman. Watching him pee his buffalo skins in terror was very satisfying.

Can I hope that Gambit dropping the Queen of Hearts is him likewise dropping Rogue? Let Mags have her. Remy risks everything just to hold her hand, Mags risks nothing. Poor Remy-pup. I don’t want to see sad sack jealous Gambit all season, I will throw a brick through my tv.

Absolutely. I know people want Frost but dammit give us Betsy on the team. She literally WAS X-Men in the 90s.

The MCU has to give us this same energy and really, really superb writing and casting. The mutants is what will carry them the next decade.

lol some of you guys are so hard on Rogue. You guys seriously undersell the feeling of physical touch. She may love Gambit, but she wants to feel some skin, peeps.

I'd have prefered, though, if that connection was born during the episode, with Rogue finding out she can touch Magneto. The whole "they have a secret past" thing, I don't love.

I wonder if we'll get Mystique this season and could we hope for Destiny's debut? If we're gonna delve into Rogue's past before joining the X-Men, I want the entire thing.

    Finally watched the episodes.

The first episode was great, but the second episode? A whole different level. It gave me goosebumps.

My only complaint so far is that Avalanche isn't wearing his helmet in the opening. I know he wasn't in the original either but, c'mon.

Just have to say that I loved it and I couldn't be happier with the show. Some of the voices will take some time for me to get used to but it didn't take away from my enjoyment of the show.

it is the 90s and that was kind of an iconic story beat.

At least your fave still isnt stuck with a whole body swap story that the writers dont want to deal with.

Thankfully they won't (and can't) repeat the Trail of Gambit. so no Rogue leaving Gambit to die in antarctica.

Jean has blue eyes and Storm's are green. That bothers me

so did they completely remove Beau Demayo from this cb I was looking at the credits and did not see his name

I had to wait all day to get to watch this show since I was traveling for work. It was so good. There are so many things I loved about the episodes: Scott, Magneto, Storm, and Jean(s). The voice for Magneto (as in the writing and not only the voice actor) was fantastic.

I loved the animation though it was a bit getting used to but I felt similar with X-men Evolution and Wolverine and the X-men when they debuted.

I can't wait for the next episode.

Rogue delivering Scott and Jean's baby was stupid. First off no woman is going to the emergency to have her child delivered. Most ER doctors dont have that specialization and it would have to be an absolute emergency (like labor while out of town). Jean would have had to have had an OB-GYN and would go to him or her

It does feel a bit more “adult” than the previous series did (even had a couple minor cuss words) but it still felt like the same characters I fell in love with (and mourned the loss of) over 26 years ago. It is weird how some of the talking animation seemed “off” (like the mouth movements didn’t match the words they were saying) yet the action scenes were downright beautiful! And yea, a few things were definitely a bit too “on the nose” for my liking, but overall, thus far, I am pretty damn happy with what I saw!

In fact, my only major complaint is how the end credits cut away before it shows the character turnaround profiles for Wolverine, Rogue and Magneto! I realize it was a homage to how they cut away from Jubilee in the previous series during Season 1 (which also annoyed me) but I don’t believe there was a reason to pay homage to something that was an error in the first place. It should have been fixed here. Regardless though, I certainly do look forward to the next episode and fingers are crossed that they don’t screw it up!

was waiting for your thoughts…. yea some of the dialogue was kinda there to catch up first timers..
The agreement also provides Disney with the opportunity to reunite the X-MEN with the Marvel family under one roof and create richer, more complex worlds of inter-related characters and stories that audiences have shown they love. It only makes sense for Marvel to be supervised by one entity. There shouldn't be two Marvels.
