Yost seems to suggest that he has one of the bigger spotlights and is front and center on their run. Plus the interview seems to suggest he's going to throw down with 100 wendigo as well as Juggernaut. I'm sure he'll be just fine.

Colossus has been one of my favorite characters on the X-Men. On a personal level he's kind of the one I root/pull for the most to have success as a character, as he's usually a supporting character, just off of the main spotlight.
I loved his appearance in X2. Though short, it was meaningful and quite awesome.

DOFP was good in that you would see him in action a lot, but not so much speaking from him.

Colossus has been my favorite Xman since I was a kid, and that will never change. He's either had his butt kicked or been downplayed for a long time now. Even when he got his Juggernaut power upgrade, nothing was ever really done with it. There were a couple of moments...but no big story going on. It was a let down.
As for Colossus in the movies...I want to see him in a lead role, not just cameos.

Agreed. Piotr has been the X-men's punching bag for too long. He got a little respect in Cable & X-Force, but not enough. Hopefully he'll lay waste to some baddies in Amazing X-men Originally Posted by Link
