The rumors of Tini Howard writing this title must be a joke.
I can't believe they will let she do more harm to the same characters.

There are no rumors, the only reason her name still comes up is because some people are very vocal about not wanting her near Betsy again. I don't get why it's really a concern... she's all in on DC and is writing two of their most popular female characters right now.

To be fair, I wasn’t worried about the possibility of Tini writing this new book until I saw that she’s writing the 10 page story for the Pride thing. So she’s still working for Marvel and they’re still hiring her to write Betsy and Rachel…
But I want to believe and hope that Brevoort truly wants new voices in his X-line and that he wouldn’t give a new book to someone who wasn’t bringing in the numbers.

I don't much care for how her hair is drawn here but this is a look that works really well for me. It's slick, practical but still sexy and good blend of "Psylocke" and "Captain Britain".

Right? This hair is atrocious. Betsy would never.

Apart from that, I always like the sapce stories and the plot for this sounded nice.

That reminds me… we saw Corsair (in bad shape) during the Krakoa era.. I can’t even remember what happened to him. He didn’t die, did he? And did the rest of the Starjammers survive the attack? They weren’t even mentioned.

They were able to save Corsair but the Starjammers I don't think were ever shown or really mentioned.

So looks like Marvel just announced Betsy and Rachel will be joining a new team in the new era.

From the titles we know, I think it could be X-force.
But I'm hoping that they're actually reviving Excalibur under a better writer.
