Interestingly there are two articles, one at Popverse and one at AIPT, about this news and the writers are speculating it's the Phoenix book. I'm not so sure though.

Also it's been said that Brevoort wanted all new writers and artists in his X-office so a TH return seems extremely unlikely.

It's not the Phoenix book. Someone asked Gail Simone about the Gold team on Twitter and she said "well, two of them have solos" (Jean & Storm).

They're literally in two separate events right now. Rachel as part of the one of the major finale books of the era, plus a side book, and Betsy in a 20-week Unlimited story that's been getting a lot of praise. Both being written very well.

How else to call a collection of people collectively defined by their super powers which are entirely random, both in terms of effects and expression and magntitude which can apparently range from having twice as long fingers as normal to being able turning the entire universe into jello by sneezing.
